| This is a nice campground right off I-95. It's
tucked behind the Lowes Home Improvement Center. I stayed here for a
year after my divorce in my motorhome. The staff is pleasant and
helpful. There are really two sections to this campground. The
area closest to the entrance features pull through sites and are intended
for short term camping. Those further back in the campground are for
more permanent residents (seasonal and full time residents). There's a swimming pool, full laundry, hair stylist, bath houses, club house, shuffleboard, a propane refilling station, camp store, etc. Every month they have a community cookout, and offer a breakfast on the weekends. For the fulltime crowd, you can get telephone and cable hookups. The site was $350/mo + metered electric. I ran both A/C units during the Summer, so my electric was ~$75/mo. My water heater used propane, and it would last upwards of 3 months. Think it was about $45 to refill my tank last time. Propane usage went up in the Winter to run the furnaces, but electric went down, so it was a trade-off. |

| I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a place to stay overnight, or seasonally. This place gets FULL December through February. During the peak of Summer, there are plenty of sites available. The snowbirds have all returned home by then. |
